Beta testing of PhysioLinq
TeleMetronics is looking for forward-looking scientists who are interested in beta-testing the PhysioLinq system and serving as launching customers. Please contact us if you are interested to collaborate with us to finalize the PhysioLinq system. |

PhysioLinq® is the ultimate solution for reliable and accurate wireless monitoring of heart rate, body temperature and activity of socially housed rats
Why use PhysioLinq?
PhysioLinq and social housing
PhysioLinq has the unique capability to make automated measurements of physiological signals from two or more socially housed rats. PhysioLinq provides reliable measurement data, free of stress artefacts.
Implants without a battery
PhysioLinq is powered by electromagnetic induction and therefore requires no battery. “No battery” means no need for refurbishment, no limitations due to short battery life and no need to monitor the battery level. PhysioLinq is especially suitable for long-term experiments, including those extending throughout the lifetime of the animal. The implant can even be reused after sterilization.
Freedom of choice for setup
The transmission of the signals is intermittent. The time interval between two adjacent transmissions can be selected and changed in the control software by the user. You can choose between simultaneous or synchronous monitoring of your animals.
Unique ID code is the key to true group-housed monitoring
Each animal carries an implant with a unique ID code. The system addresses the implant by its ID code. When addressed, the implant sends its signals to the receiver. The receiver is connected to a PC and the data are saved in a database by the software. The individual ID codes eliminate electrical interference from other animals and from outside sources.
Data acquisition and system control software
LinQcontroL (LQL) is the software that allows the researcher to monitor several animals at a time. It offers a real-time display of measurement data for each animal. Measured data can be exported to other software applications software. Physiological signals can be synchronized with other data, such as video streams, movement tracks or behavioural events.
LinQcontroL-Web (LQL-W), a web application, offers the researcher the flexibility to monitor animals from any PC or mobile device with a web browser and Internet connection.
All this makes PhysioLinq® a worthwhile and durable investment in the future of your biomedical research.
